Position Title:  Marketing Coordinator

Position Reports to:  Agency Manager with a dotted reporting line to CEO

                             

Position Summary

This position requires excellent writing and editing skills and an ability to work with many different client personalities. Those without a firm grasp of grammar, especially spelling – need not apply! Familiarity with all media types is essential, with a solid understanding of digital and social media.

 

Duties

This position will effectively and efficiently perform essential account management, projects and tasks requested by the supervisor.

 

A successful candidate must be able to perform satisfactorily the functions listed below.

  • Regularly create & post content and scheduling for a variety of social media clients
  • Author digital audits
  • Author and design newsletters and promotional emails for clients
  • Project management skills
  • Authoring press releases, blogs and other documents
  • Onboarding & managing online directories
  • Website design, build & management (TLC will provide training)
  • Digital Advertising (TLC will provide training)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • All of the above must be performed with attention to detail and an excellent command of writing skills using proper grammar and style guide requirements

 

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday 9 am-5 pm

 

Occasionally an evening or weekend project may be required, but comp time is given in those instances.

 

Salary: $35,000 firm

 

Qualifications required:

  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint in the MS Office Suite
  • Must be willing to be trained in social media tools such as video editing and graphics arts programs, e.g., Canva, Animatron, etc.
  • College graduate with an emphasis in Public Relations, Journalism or Business Management
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a valid insurance card
