The holiday season is nearly upon us. It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but at TLC Marketing Consultants, we call it an excellent opportunity for your SMB to market to customers in new and unique ways!
Here are a few simple ideas to consider that you can still pull off this year:
Partner with A Local Charity
The holiday season is also the season of giving, and what better way to kickstart the season than by doing good for others? Pick a charity you feel passionate about and raise money for them by giving a portion of your profits or taking donations at your business. The charity wins, the community wins and you and your employees can feel great about helping those in need this season.
Offer Gift Wrapping
Who doesn’t love receiving a beautifully wrapped gift? Offer gift wrapping at your store to “wow” your customers. Make sure to put your logo somewhere on the wrapping paper or gift bags, so that those recipients know their gifts are from your business. This is a great way to get your name out there in a creative way.
Holiday Open House
It’s never too early for a Holiday Open house. A holiday open house is a great way to show off your seasonal products. Whether you are a restaurant, bar or retail shop, don’t be afraid to go all out. Decorate your store with holiday décor, break out your favorite scented candle and get the Eggnog or hot chocolate brewing. Kick-off the season and make your customers feel welcomed.
Window Displays
Window displays are still a crucial part of seasonal marketing, although some might think of it as “old school.” No way! If you have a storefront that gets traffic, whether, by foot or car, the goal is to get the potential customer to stop in with frequency. The holiday season is one of the best times of the year to spend time making sure the window displays are nothing short of breathtaking. Show off your products or services while making the consumers feel warm and fuzzy during the holiday season.
Holiday Giveaways
Holiday giveaways have become extremely popular on social media in the past few years. Brands are giving away hundreds of dollars’ worth of items in a contest. Think about asking customers to like, share and tag their friends for a chance to win. It’s a win-win situation, because your business will gain massive exposure, and one of your customers is winning a fun gift. After all, everyone loves “free!”
Get your holiday marketing on now, though; the season is days away!
