Part-Time Marketing Coordinator (20 Hours/Week)

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will support TLC Marketing Consultants by managing client accounts, content creation, and digital media projects. This part-time role is primarily remote (90% work from home) with occasional in-office or client meeting requirements (approximately 10%). The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing skills, is detail-oriented, and can adapt to working with a variety of client personalities. A solid understanding of traditional media, digital platforms, and social media is essential.

This job is great for a stay-at-home parent who needs flexibility, someone who wants to travel a lot but make  on schedule or someone just looking to supplement their family income without a demanding schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator will effectively and efficiently perform essential account management duties and complete projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, scheduling, and posting social media content for multiple clients
  • Conducting digital audits and preparing summary reports
  • Designing newsletters and promotional emails for clients
  • Editing websites using WordPress, Wix, and similar platforms
  • Coordinating placement of broadcast and print media
  • Writing press releases, blogs, and other marketing communications
  • Supporting special marketing projects and tasks as assigned

Hours of Work

  • Part-time: Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Schedule: Flexible Monday–Friday availability during normal business hours
  • Very occasional evening or weekend projects may arise; compensatory time is provided in those instances

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willingness to learn and use social media and creative tools such as Canva, Animatron, or similar programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Two years of digital marketing or social media experience  
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
