Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary
This entry-level position requires excellent writing and editing skills and an ability to work with many different client personalities. Familiarity with all traditional media vehicles and a solid understanding of digital and social media are essential.
Duties
This position will effectively and efficiently perform essential account management, projects and tasks requested by the supervisor.
A successful candidate must be able to perform satisfactorily the functions listed below.
- Regularly create & post content and scheduling for a variety of social media clients
- Author digital audits
- Author and design newsletters and promotional emails for clients
- Build and edit websites using WordPress, Wix and other common platforms
- Place broadcast and print media
- Authoring press releases, blogs and other documents
- Other duties as assigned
Hours of Work
Monday – Friday 8 am- 5 pm
Occasionally, an evening or weekend project may be required, but comp time is given in those instances.
Qualifications required:
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in the MS Office Suite
- Must be willing to be trained on social media tools such as video editing and graphics arts programs, e.g., Canva, Animatron, etc.
- College graduate with an emphasis in Public Relations, Journalism or Business Management preferred but will accept years of experience as well
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a valid insurance card
- Two years of digital or social media experience preferred
